Tunisian Lace Crochet Basics

Aoibhe is best known for her love of Tunisian crochet.  In designs such as Nuada (above) she pushes the boundaries of Tunisian crochet to create unique and stylish accessories.

During this workshop, Aoibhe will take you through all the essential techniques used in Tunisian-lace work including: Tunisian Simple Stitch, beautifully textured rows, and basic chart reading.  At the end of the session you will leave with a simply stunning sample full of lacy eyelets and oodles of character. Aoibhe has seen previous students go on to design and publish their own patterns after mastering this technique.

Wire Tunisian Crochet Jewellery

If you are looking for a workshop with a difference then why not try your hand at working with wire to create a fabulous piece of crocheted jewellery? In this class, you will learn all the tricks you need to turn your regular crochet skills into this beautiful work of wearable art. Aoibhe Ni will guide you first through the basics of Tunisian crochet, then she will show you how to use your brand new skills to make delicate and dazzling metallic jewellery.
